Legal
Disclaimers
Effective and last updated October 30, 2026. Applies worldwide.
The short version
- WC Account Portal is provided "as is". Keep backups and test on a staging site.
- The portal shows data from WooCommerce and your other plugins, so it's only as accurate as they are.
- Privacy and legal compliance for your store are your responsibility.
- Integrations can break when other products change.
- Other brand names belong to their owners.
- Your local consumer rights still apply.
This summary is for convenience. The full page below has the details.
1. About this page
WC Account Portal is a WordPress plugin from Nahnu Plugins, a brand of Nahnu Fitness LLC, based in Spokane, Washington, United States ("we", "us", "our").
These disclaimers cover the plugin, wcaccountportal.com, the live demo, our documentation, the customer dashboard, updates and support. They're part of our Terms of Use.
2. No warranty
The plugin, website, live demo, documentation, updates and support are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. That includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We work hard to make WC Account Portal reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of bugs, work with every theme, plugin or host, or that every problem can be fixed. The GNU General Public License the plugin is released under also disclaims any warranty.
Rights the law doesn't let us exclude still apply. See Your consumer rights.
3. Your store and backups
You're responsible for your store. Before you install, update or change settings, we recommend you:
Back up your store
Keep a full, recent backup of your files and database.
Test on staging
Try updates and big changes on a copy of your store first.
Keep things updated
Run supported versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, your theme and plugins.
Check the result
Log in as a test customer and check the account pages on desktop and mobile after changes.
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for lost data, lost orders or sales, downtime, broken pages, or problems that happen after updates, migrations, setting changes, or changes made by other software or your host.
4. Account pages and customer data
WC Account Portal changes how your customers' account pages look and work. It doesn't change your orders or other store data. The information it shows, such as orders, subscriptions, memberships, tracking numbers, invoices, wishlists and points, comes from WooCommerce and the other plugins you use.
- If that information is wrong or missing, the portal will show it that way. We can't guarantee the accuracy of data that comes from other plugins.
- Actions your customers take in the portal, such as cancelling a subscription or reordering, are carried out by WooCommerce or the plugin that owns that feature, under its own rules.
- The included translations are a starting point. Check them before you rely on them, and edit them if needed.
5. Privacy and legal compliance
WC Account Portal doesn't send your customers' information to us, but using it doesn't make your store compliant with the GDPR, the CCPA, consumer protection or accessibility laws on its own. That depends on your whole store, including your other plugins, theme, cookies, hosting, checkout and policies.
If you turn on hCaptcha, Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile, your customers' browsers load it from that provider. Nothing on our website or in our support is legal advice. For that, please talk to a qualified lawyer.
6. Security features
Features like captchas, login protection and the integration with Nahnu Login Shield make attacks harder, but no tool can stop every attack. They're one layer of your store's security, not a guarantee. Keep strong passwords, updates and backups in place too.
7. Integrations and other services
WC Account Portal works with 31 other plugins, plus captcha services. When those products change, an integration can stop working until we update it, and fixes can take time. We may add, change or remove integrations.
Services such as WooCommerce, the plugins on our Integrations page, the captcha providers, SureCart and Stripe are covered by their own terms. We're not responsible for whether they're available or what they do.
8. Website, demo and documentation
Our website, live demo and documentation are for general information. They may contain mistakes or be out of date, and prices, features, requirements and integrations can change. The details at checkout and in the current version of the plugin come first.
The live demo uses sample data and stand-ins for WooCommerce, so some things may look or work a little differently on your store. Screenshots are examples. Code examples and developer hooks are provided as examples; test them before you use them on a live store.
9. Trademarks
WC Account Portal, Nahnu Plugins and their logos belong to Nahnu Fitness LLC. Other names and logos, including WordPress, WooCommerce and the plugins and services on our Integrations page, belong to their owners. We use them only to describe compatibility.
WC Account Portal isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the WordPress Foundation, WooCommerce or Automattic, or the makers of the plugins it works with.
10. Links to other sites
We link to other websites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or policies. A link doesn't mean we endorse them.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Nahnu Fitness LLC and its owners, team members and partners aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, data, goodwill or business.
Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. The full terms are in our Terms of Use.
12. Your consumer rights
Some countries and states don't allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so these disclaimers apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under your local law.
