Acceptable Use Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy sets out what you can and can't do when you use wcaccountportal.com, the live demo, your customer account, license keys, our update servers, checkout and support (together, "our services").

It's part of our Terms of Use. If you buy a plan for clients or a team, you're responsible for them following it too.

2. The plugin code and your sites

The WC Account Portal plugin code is licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the GPL. This policy covers our services around the code: licenses, updates, support and this website.

You're responsible for your own stores and what you put on them, including the account pages, announcements, custom pages and dashboard content you set up with the plugin.

3. Your store and your customers

WC Account Portal shows your customers their personal information, such as orders, addresses, subscriptions and memberships. When you use it, you agree to:

• Follow the privacy and consumer laws that apply to your store, and tell your customers how you use their information in your own privacy policy
• Not use the portal to show, collect or share customer information you don't have the right to use
• Not use announcements, custom pages or dashboard content to mislead your customers, phish for their details or spread malware
• Use the captcha, translation and integration plugins you connect under those providers' own terms, with your own accounts and keys

4. License keys

• Keep your license keys private. Use them only on sites covered by your plan.
• Agencies and freelancers may use their plan on client sites they build or manage, as long as the key stays theirs.
• Don't sell, share, publish or give away your keys, or include them in themes, plugins or other products.
• Don't tamper with, bypass or fake the license checks, or use someone else's key.

Copies of the plugin from unofficial sources don't get updates or support from us, and may be unsafe.

5. The live demo

• The live demo is for trying WC Account Portal. Don't enter real names, addresses, payment details or passwords.
• Don't use bots or scripts on it, overload it, or try to break out of the demo.

6. Our website and systems

Unless we've given you permission, don't:

• Hack, probe or scan our website, servers or update system for weaknesses
• Overload them, for example with automated requests or denial-of-service attacks
• Scrape or copy the website in bulk
• Get around security measures, rate limits or access controls

Good-faith security research is welcome. Please follow the reporting steps below.

7. Payments

• Don't commit fraud, or use stolen or unauthorized payment details.
• Don't abuse refunds or chargebacks, for example by buying, refunding and buying again to use the plugin for free.

If something is wrong with a payment, please contact support first. Most problems are quick to fix.

8. Our name and brand

The WC Account Portal and Nahnu Plugins names and logos belong to Nahnu Fitness LLC.

• You may say your product or service works with WC Account Portal.
• Don't suggest that we endorse, sponsor or partner with you unless we've agreed in writing.
• Don't use our names or logos in a misleading way, or in your own product names or domain names.
• Don't post fake reviews about WC Account Portal or pretend to be us.

9. Support

• Please be respectful to the people helping you. We may stop helping anyone who is abusive or threatening.
• Never send passwords by email or through the support form.
• Only give us access to your site if we ask for it through a secure method we agree on, and remove that access when we're done.

10. Illegal use

Don't use our services for anything illegal or to infringe anyone's rights. If we see serious illegal activity, we may report it to the authorities.

11. Reporting problems

• Security issues: report them privately through the support form. Please give us up to 90 days to fix the issue before you share it publicly.
• Misuse, key sharing or brand abuse: report it through the same form.

12. What happens if this policy is broken

What we do depends on how serious the problem is. We may:

• Send a warning
• Deactivate license keys
• Pause updates or support
• Close the account
• Report illegal activity to the authorities

Copies of the plugin already installed keep working under the GPL. If you think we got it wrong, contact us and we'll review the decision.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
